The pandemic COVID-19 is the most crucial global health calamity of the century. A new infectious respiratory disease first emerged in Wuhan Hubei province China, on December 2019 in, China and was named by the WHO as COVID-19. In India, COVID-19 cases have begun towards the end of February as the case has been spiked in the month of March. In India the first case of the COVID-19 pandemic reported in the state of Kerala on 30 January 2020 and the affected had a travel history from Wuhan, China. On March 12, 2020 the first death due to COVID-19 was reported in India. This paper studied the spread of COVID-19 situation in Lakhimpur, Assam, a state of India during the year 2020. It can be said that the situation of COVID-19 spread in the district is very alarming during the months of August and September 2020 as well as in the state of Assam.
