Title

“A STUDY ON EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT IN IT SECTOR”

Abstract

This study explores the level of employee engagement in the IT sector and examines the key factors that influence it. It focuses on elements such as managerial support, work-life balance, opportunities for career growth, and the sense of being valued within the organization. The research, conducted through surveys and interviews with IT professionals, finds that higher engagement leads to greater job satisfaction, improved performance, and stronger employee retention. It also highlights challenges faced by IT employees, such as remote work fatigue, high job stress, and lack of recognition, which can reduce engagement levels. The study emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive work environment, where employees feel heard, appreciated, and empowered to develop professionally. It offers practical suggestions for IT companies to improve engagement, including promoting open communication, providing flexible work options, investing in employee development, and regularly recognizing employee contributions. These strategies can enhance overall productivity and employee well-being.
