Title

Exploring the Nutritional Potential of Kodo Millet Using Molecular Approaches: A Pathway to Food Security

Abstract

Kodo millet, an underutilized cereal crop, holds significant potential as a sustainable solution to food security owing to its high nutritional value and resilience to adverse agro-climatic conditions. This study investigates the nutritional composition of Kodo millet samples using molecular and biochemical approaches. Key macronutrients, including calcium, phosphorus, protein, fat, carbohydrate, crude fiber and ash content, were quantified employing standardized methodologies.
