This paper explores the creative and technical processes involved in the production of 3D animated short films, with particular emphasis on visual storytelling, the animation production pipeline, and recent technological innovations. As a solo creator, the animation journey is both a deeply personal endeavor and a highly technical pursuit. This study investigates how narratives can be effectively conveyed through visuals alone, without relying heavily on dialogue, and examines how independent artists manage complex production workflows using software such as Houdini, Blender, Maya, and After Effects. Furthermore, the paper highlights emerging technologies—such as procedural simulations and real-time rendering—that are increasingly accessible to individual creators, enabling the production of high-quality content. By analyzing notable short films and reflecting on solo production practices, this research aims to offer a deeper understanding of how storytelling and technology intersect to shape compelling 3D animated works.
