Heritage Tourism is a kind of tourism, which focusses on the activities and involving in the country’s cultural and historical tradition. The people and local authorities mostly neglect this kind of tourism. In order to promote and check whether the heritage places of Nagpur have the capacity to attract the tourist and provide a valuable insight on the monuments. The researcher is of opined that to study the potential of heritage tourism in Nagpur city which will reflect the importance of tourism in the city with different perspective. The researcher wants to increase the awareness about the Nagpur heritage sites for the tourist coming to Nagpur city. The researcher is about to identify the heritage sites and attractions and assess the current level of tourism activity in Nagpur city. To provide valuable insights on the strategies and implementing it. The research method used to carry out this research is descriptive type of research since; the researcher is merely describing the potential of heritage tourism. The sampling technique used for this research is random sampling, in which a sample size was 103 and the survey was taken from the sample through filling up of questionnaire. Through this research study, one of the key findings of the study is the importance of creating awareness about the heritage sites among tourists. Understanding the preferences of tourists who visit Nagpur specifically for heritage tourism is highlighted as a crucial aspect. By identifying the factors that attract tourists to these sites and their expectations, Nagpur can develop tailored experiences that meet the needs of its visitors. Nagpur has the opportunity to position itself as a compelling heritage tourism destination within India.
