This study investigates the financial challenges hindering rural entrepreneurs in Maharashtra, with a particular focus on limited access to capital a critical barrier affecting business establishment and sustainability. The research underscores the significance of rural entrepreneurship in regional economic development and identifies key financial constraints, including low financial literacy, reluctance to engage with formal banking institutions, and difficulties in securing loans. Findings suggest that targeted interventions, such as entrepreneurship training and skill development programs, can enhance financial management capabilities among rural business owners. Additionally, improved access to formal credit and structured financial support can alleviate funding constraints
