Abstract
The advancement in nanotechnology has significantly contributed to the development of novel drug delivery systems, enhancing drug bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy. Rosuvastatin calcium, a widely used statin for hyperlipidemia, has limited bioavailability due to extensive first-pass metabolism and poor solubility. This review explores the formulation and evaluation of rosuvastatin calcium spray in the form of polymeric nanoparticles to overcome these challenges. The study delves into nanoparticle formulation strategies, polymer selection, characterization methods, and pharmacokinetic evaluations to optimize the drug delivery system.
