The Online Shopping System is a web-based e-commerce platform designed to simplify and automate the retail purchasing process. The system enables seamless product browsing, order management, payment processing, and customer support. It addresses common industry challenges such as inventory mismanagement, slow checkout procedures, and lack of personalized user experiences. The backend is developed using Python Flask, providing fast REST API responses, while MySQL manages data storage with a normalized schema. Secure transactions are ensured through the Razorpay API, complying with modern financial standards. The Bootstrap-based interface adapts to multiple devices, and role-based access control ensures data confidentiality. Testing results revealed a 98.5% order success rate, an average response time of 1.2 seconds, and 92% user satisfaction.
