Title

A Pedagogical Shift for Enhancing Employability through NEP 2020: A Model for Learner-Centric Skill-Based Teaching

Abstract

This research paper explores the transformative potential of learner-centric pedagogies within the framework of India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The focus lies in developing employability skills by integrating skill-based learning, digital tools and experiential teaching methods. By analyzing limitations in the current education system and incorporating successful models globally, the paper proposes the Learner-Centric Skill Integration Framework (LCSIF). This three-tiered framework facilitates curriculum alignment, redefines teacher-student roles and ensures measurable outcomes. This paper establishes a framework for executing sustainable educational reforms that bridge employability gaps while fostering comprehensive student growth in line with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP).
