This paper outlines the creation of a secure steganography web application, designed with Python and the Django framework [1]. This application allows for the stealthy encoding of secret messages using different types of media (image, audio, video, and documents) [1], [3]. Users can use Fernet or AES for the encryption method, ensuring that the confidentiality of the message remains intact [2], [3]. While many tools available today are focused solely on image steganography, this application allows users to encode and append secret messages into document and media file formats (JPG, PNG, MP3, MP4, PDF, DOCX, PPT) [4], [5]. Our work helps foster secure communications in the digital environment, targeting both technical and non-technical users, through ease-of-use web application design as well as mobile-friendly, responsive formats [2], [1].
