Infertility is a growing global health concern affecting approximately one in six couples worldwide. Patient counselling plays a crucial role in infertility management by ensuring treatment adherence, reducing psychological stress, and improving lifestyle-related factors that affect reproductive health. Pharmacists are uniquely positioned to provide education on medications such as clomiphene citrate, gonadotropins, and GnRH analogs, in addition to offering lifestyle modification, guidance, and psychosocial support. This paper discusses the etiology, risk factors, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and treatment modalities for infertility, with a focus on the pharmacist’s role in patient counselling.
