AI Integration in Recruitment and its organizational outcomes

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly transforming Human Resource Management (HRM), particularly within the recruitment and selection processes. Once considered a scientific invention, AI is now actively reshaping job roles and is recognized for its vital role in recruitment. Its application in HRM has evolved from a "nice-to-have" to a "necessary-to-employ" tool. Recently, recruitment practices have shifted dramatically toward artificial intelligence (AI)-based methods, driven by the need to efficiently manage large applicant pools. Recruiting top talent has always been a challenge for organizations across industries. But with the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), the hiring process has become more efficient, effective, and accurate than ever before. AI-powered software can help streamline tasks, such as sourcing relevant candidates, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews, allowing HR teams to focus on building relationships and making strategic decisions. AI technologies have revolutionized traditional hiring practices by automating tasks, enhancing decision-making, and improving candidate experience. exploring the applications of AI tools such as natural language processing (NLP), machine learning (ML), chatbots, and predictive analytics. This paper discusses Evolution of AI tool in recruitment, AI based strategy used by HR to get organizational outcomes Consequently, the recruitment process significantly impacts an organizations performance, productivity, and culture. Supporting that this paper discusses their benefits, challenges, Future trends, The paper also addresses the potential risks, including bias in AI tool and privacy concerns, and offers bias mitigation for best practices in AI adoption for HR professionals.
