This study has been undertaken to investigate the determinants of the emerging field of community-based dance therapy initiatives aimed at facilitating recovery from Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries among preadolescents in India. It also explores the effectiveness of dance therapy as a complementary rehabilitation strategy, focusing on its potential to enhance physical recovery, improve emotional well-being, and foster social connections especially among young patients. Furthermore, this includes the demand for such initiatives in India, highlighting cultural attitudes towards physical exercises and dance, as well as the potential for in cooperating dance therapy into existing healthcare sectors.
