Water logging has become a persistent environmental and socio-economic problem in Chattogram city. This paper aims to assess the causes, impacts, and possible sustainable mitigation strategies for addressing water logging issues. Primary and secondary data sources were analyzed to evaluate the scale of the problem. The study identifies unplanned urbanization, inadequate drainage capacity, and climate change as the primary contributors. The findings suggest that integrated urban planning, modern drainage system development, and community participation are essential for long-term solutions.
