Purpose: To identify the opinion of the farmers on the relevance of short supply chains in the agro market. Methodology: In all, 135 farmers were interrogated from the rural belt of Udaipur district, 10 Likert statements were drafted and one hypothesis was tested to fetch useful results. One sample t-test was applied to fetch useful results. Principle Finding: The core finding of the study was that respondents have a common opinion on the short supply chain front, and farmers accept the importance of the short supply chain duly. Application of study: The study is highly applicable in the current scenario, since India is an agrarian country, farmers have certain issues, which call for a remedial actions and short supply chains are one of those very relevant measures and our working aimed to get farmer’s opinion on the same. Novelty of the study: The study examines the opinion of farmers on short supply chains, selected area lacks statistical testing, thus the study is very novel and unique.
