The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare has transformed predictive modeling, enabling more accurate disease prognosis, personalized treatment, and resource optimization. Agentic intelligence (AIg) is a paradigm emphasizing autonomous decision-making agents capable of interacting with complex environments that offers significant potential to enhance predictive healthcare systems. This study reviews recent advances in agentic intelligence applied to predictive healthcare, highlighting architecture, methodologies, applications, challenges, and future directions. We systematically analyze existing frameworks and propose research avenues for leveraging agentic intelligence to achieve adaptive, interpretable, and clinically relevant healthcare predictions.
