Decompensated chronic liver disease (DCLD) is a severe and life-threatening condition that marks the progression of liver cirrhosis into its most advanced stage. This report presents the case of a 51-year-old woman diagnosed with cryptogenic cirrhosis, who developed complications such as abdominal distension, jaundice, and weight loss. After comprehensive evaluation, she underwent a successful living donor liver transplantation (LDLT). The case highlights the role of early diagnosis, structured transplant evaluation, and multidisciplinary postoperative care in managing advanced liver disease.
