Women’s financial inclusion is a key driver of economic growth and social empowerment. It allows women to access credit, savings, insurance, and other financial services. However, despite various initiatives, many women, especially in developing countries, are still excluded from formal banking systems due to low financial literacy, lack of collateral, and social and cultural barriers. Microfinance programs and self-help groups (SHGs) have proven effective in closing these gaps by providing small loans, group savings, and support for entrepreneurship, particularly for low-income women.
