Financial literacy has emerged as a critical determinant of individual financial well‑being in modern economies. It influences how people manage income, savings, and investments, ultimately shaping long-term financial security. This research examines the relationship between financial literacy and saving/investment behavior among individuals, with emphasis on how knowledge of financial concepts, risk awareness, and planning skills affect decision-making. Using survey based data interpretation and secondary literature, the study finds that higher financial literacy correlates with disciplined saving habits, diversified investment portfolios, and reduced susceptibility to financial distress. The paper concludes with practical suggestions to enhance financial literacy through education, policy initiatives, and community programs.
