Accounting, auditing and taxation form the foundational pillars of financial integrity and compliance in any organization. The paper examines the professional practices followed at V.K. Bhati & Associates, a chartered accountancy firm based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The study highlights how the firm manages bookkeeping, conducts audits, and ensures accurate tax compliance for clients across various sectors. Using observations from a six-week internship, the research analyzes how accounting records are maintained, how taxation practices support legal compliance. Finding indicate that the firm’s structured workflow, digital tools, and strong internal control mechanisms contribute to improved accuracy, reduced errors, and timely financial reporting. The study concludes that integrated financial practices significantly enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and client trust.
