Title

“A STUDY ON MARKETING STRATEGIES AND SERVICE PROMOTION AT JAWAHARLAL NEHRU PORT AUTHORITY (JNPA)”

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of marketing strategies and service promotion within a logistics and port-based business environment. The research focuses on how modern ports and logistics authorities can strengthen customer engagement, enhance operational efficiency, and improve digital service delivery through structured marketing approaches. Both primary and secondary data were analysed to understand customer preferences, service satisfaction levels, and perceptions toward digitalization, sustainability, and operational efficiency. The findings show that digital communication, service speed, stakeholder engagement, and operational transparency are the strongest drivers of customer satisfaction. The study also reveals gaps in digital adoption among SMEs, last-mile bottlenecks, and limited promotional reach, indicating areas where marketing strategies must evolve. Based on the insights, strategic recommendations are proposed to improve digital branding, enhance service quality, and increase customer retention.
