Title

CONTEMPORARY EDUCATION IN MADRASAS: AN EXAMINATION ON MADRASAS IN KERALA

Abstract

This study explores how traditional Madrasas in Kerala, have evolved and incorporated contemporary teaching. This study investigates the inclusion of topics like science, math, and social studies alongside religious studies in Madrasa curricula with a focus on the interaction of Islamic religious teachings and modern educational practices. The study provides insight into the causes, difficulties, and results of this transition in the educational paradigm through intensive fieldwork and qualitative analysis. Additionally, it investigates how modernization affects pupils' academic success, cognitive growth, and overall societal integration. Policymakers, educators, and communities wishing to close the gap between religious instruction and modern education in Madrasas can benefit greatly from the findings.
