Abstract: The present Congress Government in the Karnataka State has promised five guarantees to the public in their manifesto released for the State Assembly elections held on May 2023. After coming into power, they implemented the five guarantees that included two thousand rupees benefit to the senior most lady of the house (Graha Laxmi), free travel for women within Karnataka in the busses of the State Corporation (Shakti Scheme), 5 kg free food grains for a month to each family member who is holding the Below Poverty Line (BPL) card (Anna Bagya), free electricity upto 200 units based on their average consumption of the last year (Graha Jyoti) and a stipend of ₹3000 for Degree passed out students of the current year; ₹1500 for the diploma holders as well that are unemployed for at least 180 days, after they have passed in their courses. The objective of the article is to commence a study on the satisfaction of beneficiaries of the Shakti Scheme. Due to the free facility, the busses are overcrowded and regular passengers have some issues, that are to be reported in the following article.
