Abstract
A well-organized business process improvement program can give an enterprise multi-significant result. Moreover, the process approach makes it possible to increase its effectiveness factually, not formally. An enterprise is defined as a system with numerous interdependent processes inside, which, through their functioning, establish the state of the entire organizational system. The process approach views all of the company's activities as a multitude of interacting processes, which pass through the organizational structure of the enterprise and realize the goal of its existence.
Based on world experience, it can be concluded that the dynamic development of the services and goods market, increasing competition, and changes in the external environment force the search for new methods and tools for company management. Based on this, the necessity for implementing a process approach to managing the functioning of Ukrainian enterprises follows. Continuous improvement of business processes is a guaranteed advantage in a competitive environment. Improving the enterprise's business processes involves not only employees performing their functional activities but also continuously improving them. Measurable goals are included in the improvement, as the ideal cannot be reached and somehow measured. The meaning of this pure process lies within itself and consists of doing something better every day than yesterday.
Significant attention is paid in a large number of scientific works to the theoretical and methodological issues of establishing the basis of business processes in the activities of companies, namely in the works of the following well-known domestic and foreign scientists, such as L. Denisenko, I. Melnyk, H. Osvoska, M. Robson, P. Ullah, V. Chadayev, and others. However, aspects of the essence of business processes remain, as well as the widespread use of a process-oriented approach to company administration, which are still unexplored, since economic transformation presupposes the emergence of new approaches and solutions. Despite the great attention of scientists to the concept and improvement of business administration processes, a unified approach to this issue does not exist in the scientific literature, which requires the use of a comprehensive approach to improving business administration processes, establishing the peculiarities of the enterprise's business processes, and methods for their improvement.
The GOAL of the article is the systematization of approaches, methods, and tools for process improvement in business administration.
