Title

BuyFurn: A Full Stack Furniture E Commerce Platform Using Angular and Spring Boot

Abstract

This research paper presents BuyFurn a fully functional full stack ecommerce application developed as part of an MCA final semester project, aimed at digitalizing and enhancing the furniture shopping experience .The application integrates a modern Angular based frontend with a robust Spring Boot backend, providing a seamless and interactive user interface while ensuring reliable server side operations. BuyFurn incorporates a wide range of essential e-commerce functionalities, including product catalog browsing advanced search and filtering shopping cart management, secure order placement, and real-time inventory tracking. The system has been designed with scalability, usability, and performance optimization as primary considerations ensuring it can handle increased user traffic and large product datasets efficiently. This paper details the system architecture design methodology, development workflow, and implementation strategies highlighting how the combination of Angular and Spring Boot enhances responsiveness, modularity, and maintainability. Additionally, the research discusses testing procedures and results including functional testing, usability assessments, and performance evaluations to validate the applications reliability and efficiency. The study also identifies current limitations, such as constraints in payment integration and feature extensibility, and proposes potential future enhancements, including integration with AI based recommendation systems, mobile application support and advanced analytics for user behavior tracking. Overall BuyFurn demonstrates the practical application of full-stack development techniques in creating a scalable and user-friendly e-commerce platform, serving as a comprehensive project model for academic and real-world implementations.
