Title

WORK-LIFE BALANCE OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS IN KALABURAGI DISTRICT

Abstract

The variables impacting work-life balance, the difficulties encountered, and the tactics used to preserve harmony are the key topics of this study, which examines the work-life balance of female entrepreneurs in Kalaburagi district. Although they are essential to social and economic progress, women entrepreneurs frequently find it difficult to strike a balance between their personal and business obligations. These experiences are greatly influenced by traditional gender norms in Kalaburagi's sociocultural setting. With a mixed-methods approach, the study uses structured surveys to gather quantitative data and qualitative interviews to obtain detailed insights. Workload, family responsibilities, financial stresses, social standards, and support systems all have a significant impact on work-life balance, according to the findings. Role conflict, time limits, social demands, and a lack of social support are among the difficulties. Women entrepreneurs use time management, delegating, flexible scheduling, and community support to keep things in balance. The study highlights that achieving work-life balance is a dynamic process influenced by interconnected factors. It underscores the need for targeted policy interventions, enhanced support networks, and community awareness to promote gender equality and empower women entrepreneurs. The findings offer valuable insights for policymakers, business support groups, and women entrepreneurs seeking sustainable work-life harmony.
