This paper focuses on the study and analysis of traditional residential architectural styles in Hoi An Ancient Town, one of the most renowned heritage and tourism destinations in Vietnam. The primary objective of this research is to examine the distinctive characteristics and architectural features of traditional houses in Hoi An, as well as to evaluate their transformation and adaptability within a contemporary context. The study also emphasizes the cultural significance and lessons derived from the preservation of traditional architecture in Hoi An, while proposing potential development orientations for this architectural heritage in the future. Through historical analysis and architectural observation, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of the harmonious relationship between traditional and modern architectural values, and highlights the importance of sustainable conservation strategies for historic urban areas.
