This paper discusses the importance of modern aerial defense systems in protecting national security during present-day warfare. With the increasing use of drones, missiles, and advanced aircraft, traditional defense methods are no longer sufficient. The study focuses on India’s aerial defense approach with reference to Operation Sindoor and explains how technologies such as radar systems, missile interceptors, and artificial intelligence work together to detect and neutralize threats. In addition, the paper proposes new ideas aimed at improving civilian safety and drone survivability, highlighting the need for smarter, faster, and more humane defense systems in the future.
