Title

"KRISHI RAKSHA” IoT-BASED SMART AGRI SOLUTIONS

Abstract

Krishi Raksha is an IoT-based smart agricultural system designed to automate irrigation and provide comprehensive protection for 3-phase pump motors. Developed for the Indian agricultural landscape, the system utilizes a Raspberry Pi 3 integrated with soil moisture, DHT11 (temperature/humidity), and water level sensors. A key innovation is the inclusion of a custom Minilac module, which protects the motor from phase failure, voltage imbalance, and dry running—preventing expensive repair costs. The system offers dual-mode connectivity: a Flutter-based mobile app for real-time monitoring and an AI chatbot assistant, alongside a GSM module for SMS-based control in areas without internet. By automating irrigation based on real-time sensor data, the project reduces water consumption by 30-40% and minimizes manual labor. This solution provides an affordable, safe, and efficient method for remote farm management, specifically benefiting elderly farmers and those in power-unstable regions.
