Title

Method development and optimization of RP‐HPLC method for estimation of Doxofylline & Ambroxol Hydrochloride

Abstract

The present work reports a reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP HPLC) method for the determination of (Doxofylline) DOX and AMB in Solid dosage form. HPLC was performed using a Thermo Hypersil C18 column (150 mm X 4.6 mm I.e., 5m) using a mixture of 10 mM Phosphate buffer, Acetonitrile and Methanol (70: 20: 10) as mobile phase. The retention time of Ambroxol hydrochloride and Doxofylline was found to be 3.18 and 6.0 respectively. RP HPLC method was validated as per ICH guidelines. The proposed method was found to be suitable for the quantification of the selected combination of drugs in pharmaceutical dosage form.
