Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) industry is one of the significant contributors in growth of Indian economy. As per NASSCOM- 'Indian KPO industry will capture 70% of the total work in the near future'. In modern era, overall employment across sectors is facing a serious challenge of job stress and job dissatisfaction. Though KPO industry is continuously creating employment opportunities; BUT is also undergoing the alarming situation of employee complaining about work-life balance. Distress amongst employees is affecting the overall performance of an organization and needed to be addressed for ascertaining the growth of the industry. A conceptual study on relationship between Job stress and job satisfaction aims to explore the root causes and thus, create an environment and organizational culture of employee engagement towards work life balance, employee retention and organizational growth. A conceptual research is conducted to get clear insight for the same in KPO industry.
