Title

A Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate by Copper Slag in Concrete

Abstract

The rapid growth of the construction industry has resulted in excessive use of natural river sand as fine aggregate in concrete, leading to depletion of natural resources and environmental concerns. Simultaneously, large quantities of copper slag, an industrial by-product generated during copper manufacturing, are being disposed of as waste, causing environmental pollution. This project aims to study the feasibility of using copper slag as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in concrete.
