This study investigates the performance of GGBS mortar under varying temperature conditions and curing methods, such as water ponding at normal environmental temperature, water bathing at the temperature of 30℃, gunny bag curing Nat surrounding environmental temperature and in the freezer curing at the temperature of 0℃. Paper pulp fibers, known for their eco-friendliness and cost-effectiveness, were incorporated into the mortar to enhance its sustainability and mechanical properties. The mortar samples were subjected to controlled curing environments to evaluate their strength, durability, and thermal resistance. Experimental results demonstrated that the curing method and temperature significantly influenced the performance of the GGBS mortor. Water ponding provides optimal hydration and strength development, while water bathing and gunny bag curing showed moderate performance due to the limited moisture retention. Freezer curing, subjected to sub-zero temperatures, impacted the microstructure, resulting in decreased strength. The findings suggest that selecting the appropriate curing method is critical for optimizing the performance of GGBS mortar in various climatic conditions.
