The banking sector is now being improved and made stronger by online banking to attract its customers these days still most banking customers do not use net banking due to fear of cyber crimes. This research tries to aware the readers to know the meaning; types of cyber crimes and cybercrime laws. The risk of cyber-attacks has increased over the world with ICT. There is a need to explore this area as the various attacks like the stealing of information, hacking, and viruses, are increasing day by day. Banks must evaluate their current policies as although the number of customers in the banking sector has increased yet they feel hesitant and unconfident in selecting online services. This Paper attempts to study the impact of cybercrime on the banking sector. The security recommendations are highlighted in this study so that the knowledge level of online banking account holders can be improved when dealing with online attacks. This research will also be beneficial for financial organizations and banking sectors. The uniqueness of this paper is based on the inclusive methodology used to know the types of online attacks and their prevention.
