Interstitial cystitis (IC) is a chronic inflammatory condition of urinary bladder characterized by increased and painful urine frequency, urgency and pain in the bladder or surrounding pelvic region. Though IC has been not commonly reported in children but, but it is observed in pediatric clinical practice including urologists. This clinical entity comes under group of hard-to-treat pediatric ailments. This article reconnoiters the effectiveness of Ayurveda management in Interstitial Cystitis in a 4-year female child patient.
