Title

MAKING HIGH STRENGTH CONCRETE OF 51 MPa AND 55 MPa USING 53 GRADE CEMENT, NARMADA RIVER SAND, AGGREGATE, ADMIXTURE AND FLY ASH

Abstract

This Paper focuses on the design and development of high strength concrete of M51and M55 grade using ordinary Portland cement, ultra fine fly ash, river sand, 20mm and 10 mm aggregate and Asian PC 200 superplasticizer admixture. The study follows IS 10626: 2019 guidelines for concrete mix design to achieve a target mean strength of 51 MPa and 55 MPa. The investigation involved systematic calculation of material proportions, preparation of 15 cm concrete cube specimens, Testing properties of materials and evaluation of compressive strength characteristics. The optimized mix design achieved a water - cementitious ratio of about 0.30, incorporating 25% ultra fine fly ash replacement and about 1% Asian pc 200 admixture by weight of cementitious material and chemical admixtures in producing high strength concrete suitable for modern construction applications.
