The study covers 13 Ph.D. Theses submitted during the period of 2018 – 2022. The study identified that each three thesis awarded in the respective years of 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022 and in the year of 2019 only one thesis was submitted and awarded, and the contribution of male research scholars is more as compared to female research scholars. Prof. K. Padmini has supervised the maximum number of theses i.e. 5 corresponding to 38.46% out of 13 theses. Most of the references are two authored and from journals. Library and philosophy and practice (e-journal is the most cited journal with 102 (1045%). most of the citations (25.88%) are from library and information science and its sub-fields and highest citations are formed to be from India (38.28%). Bibliometric studies on Ph.D. theses have been conducted in various countries in various disciplines, but the study of the published literatures shows that highest attempts have been made in India. The study determines the bibliographic features and could be an asset to researcher, academicians and librarians.
