Colour theory plays an important role in concept art as it helps artists understand how colours influence mood, emotion, and visual meaning. Concept art is used to present early visual ideas for characters, environments, and stories in animation, games, and films. This research paper explains the importance of colour theory in concept art and how colour choices affect emotional response and visual balance. A descriptive research method is used, based on information collected from books, research articles, and online sources. The study concludes that effective use of colour theory improves clarity, atmosphere, and emotional impact in concept art.
