HAND GESTURE GAME USING PYTHON AND OPENCV
Abstract
This project presents a hand gesture controlled multi-game system designed using computer vision techniques. The system uses a webcam to capture real-time hand movements, which are processed using OpenCV and MediaPipe to perform accurate hand detection and gesture recognition. A centralized dashboard module enables users to select and launch different games from a single interface. The recognized gestures are mapped to game controls, allowing users to interact with the games without the use of traditional input devices such as a keyboard or mouse. The proposed system provides an intuitive, contactless, and engaging gaming experience while demonstrating the practical application of computer vision in interactive systems.
