ABSTRACT: - Moisturizers are cosmetic formulations utilized to nourish the skin by promoting and maintaining the hydration on our skin thereby protecting the skin’s natural barrier. Moisturizer loaded with the goodness of natural extracts can be used for improving the health of the skin. Here, the moisturizer is formulated by using the extracts of Aloe vera, Ashwagandha, Liquorice, Guava leaves which are known for their Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-Oxidant, Anti-Hyperpigmentation, Anti-microbial properties respectively. The emulsified Ghee (Shada-dauta-Gritha) is used as the natural emollient base in formulation loaded with the Anti-oxidant properties which provides protection to the natural barrier. The formulation is done in the form of a moisturizer stick the enables ease application at any time to reapply it and making it portable. The Herbals are directly extracted from graded herbal powders by Maceration process, and phytochemical Analysis of extracts were done to determine the Flavanoid, Alkaloid, Anthraquinone Glycoside, Tannis & Terpenoids. The evaluation tests for prepared Herbal Moisturizer stick was done for pH, Spreadabilitytest,Melting point determination, Stability studies,Anti-microbial test.thus, Herbal moisturizer stick is formulated for treating Acne and Hyperpigmentation.
