Title

Challenges in Implementing Inclusive Education Activities for Adolescent CWSN in the Schools of Andhra Pradesh

Abstract

Inclusive education is an important approach to ensure equal educational opportunities for all learners, including Children With Special Needs (CWSN), within the mainstream school system. The successful implementation of inclusive education activities is essential for promoting academic development, social participation, and emotional well-being among students with disabilities. However, many schools face several challenges in effectively implementing inclusive education practices, particularly at the adolescent stage where students experience significant physical, psychological, and social changes. The present study focuses on examining the challenges in implementing inclusive education activities for adolescent CWSN in the schools of Andhra Pradesh. The study aims to identify the barriers related to infrastructure, availability of teaching-learning materials, teacher preparedness, support services, and attitudes toward inclusive education. It also seeks to understand the difficulties experienced by teachers and schools while accommodating students with diverse learning needs in regular classrooms. The findings of the study are expected to provide insights into the current status of inclusive education practices and suggest measures for improving the implementation of inclusive education activities in schools. Ultimately, the study contributes to strengthening inclusive education policies and practices to ensure equitable and quality education for adolescent CWSN in Andhra Pradesh.
