Abstract

A Day's Wait:-The story describes a nine year old boy, Schatz who suffers mild flu but mistook it to be a severe illness because misunderstanding results when he takes 102 degree Celsius to be 102 degree Fahrenheit. He certainly feels that he would die but bravely overcomes this fear all by himself without informing his father. At the end he tells him that results in relaxing his fear. This story captures miscommunication between the boy and his father.
