Skin diseases can have a significant impact on psychological well-being and quality of life, often leading to symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress. Ayurveda provides a holistic approach to the management of skin disorders by addressing physical, psychological, and lifestyle-related factors. The present study aims to examine the role of Ayurveda in managing mental health among individuals affected by skin diseases. A pre-test and post-test research design was used to assess psychological well-being and quality of life before and after Ayurvedic intervention. Depression, anxiety, and stress were assessed using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 (DASS-21), while the impact of skin disease on quality of life was assessed using the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI). The study is expected to determine whether Ayurvedic management is associated with improvement in psychological symptoms and quality of life among individuals with skin diseases. The findings may support the importance of an integrated approach involving Ayurveda and psychological care in the management of skin-related conditions.
