This scientometric study analyzes the development trends and the present situation of the educational sciences discipline through the prism of peer-reviewed English-language papers in the Scopus database for the period 2016-2025 by the PRISMA-based selection criterion. A total of 7,262 papers have been published in 2,745 scientific journals at the average growth rate of 10.01% (Compound Annual Growth Rate) from 450 papers in 2016 to 1,196 in 2024. The highest citation rates were observed in 2018 (20,838 citations) and 2020 (20,526 citations). The life cycle evaluation using a logistic growth curve (R2=0.912) demonstrated that now only 10.0% of the potential saturation level of the discipline has been reached (K=72,620 papers) and implies the maximum annual output of 2,486 papers in 2038.8. The analysis of Bradford’s Law indicated that the core nucleus included 121 (4.4%) journals providing 33.4% of the total number of papers; however, there were serious deviations from the classical model since the long-tailed periphery consisted of 2,036 journals. The author productivity strictly followed the modified Lotka’s Law (β=2.8252, p=0.155) with 89.00% of authors having. Co-authorship network mapping demonstrated high localized team cohesion led by central hubs such as Liu Y, Wang Y, and Chen X, alongside isolated clinical clusters. These findings offer critical benchmarks for collection management, institutional policy, and international research collaboration.
