This study critically examines how Nestlé India embedded values—particularly Creating Shared Value (CSV), long-term orientation, operational excellence, sustainability and performance discipline—translate into measurable corporate-finance outcomes. The analysis uses FY2023–FY2025 information, with FY2025 as the principal reference year. Nestlé reported sales of CHF 89.5 billion in 2025, organic growth of 3.5%, an underlying trading operating profit margin of 16.1%, free cash flow of CHF 9.2 billion and ROIC of 12.7%. At the same time, the company faced coffee and cocoa inflation, tariffs and foreignexchange pressure. Operational initiatives remained important: Fuel for Growth generated CHF 1.1 billion of savings in 2025, while capex was 4.8% of sales. The study concludes that embedded values create financial relevance when they improve productivity, resilience, cash flow, risk management or capital efficiency; values alone do not guarantee higher returns.
