Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly transforming Human Resource Management (HRM) by changing how organizations recruit, develop, support and manage their workforce. This paper examines the role of AI-driven HRM in transforming talent management, workplaces and organizational performance. Technologies such as machine learning, predictive analytics, natural language processing, generative AI and intelligent automation can support recruitment, talent identification, personalized learning, workforce analytics and employee services. These applications can reduce routine administrative activities while enabling HR professionals to focus more on strategic workforce decisions.
The paper highlights that AI is also reshaping the workplace by encouraging new forms of human–AI collaboration. Organizations need to focus on job redesign, reskilling, upskilling and continuous learning rather than viewing AI only as a source of job displacement. AI-enabled employee assistants, personalized learning and automated HR support can improve employee experience, although excessive monitoring may create concerns about privacy and trust.
At the same time, responsible AI adoption is essential because HR decisions directly affect employees' careers and opportunities. Issues of algorithmic bias, fairness, transparency, accountability, privacy and data governance require careful attention. Human oversight should remain central to high-impact HR decisions.
The paper proposes a thematic framework connecting AI Technology, Intelligent HR Processes, Augmented Talent Management, Human–AI Collaborative Workplaces and Organizational Performance, supported by ethics, human oversight, data governance and AI literacy. The paper concludes that AI should complement rather than replace human capabilities. A human-centric approach can help organizations build more adaptive, inclusive, productive and future-ready workplaces while strengthening the strategic contribution of HRM.
