Title

Therapeutic Approaches Towards Diabetic Foot Ulcer Across Diverse System of Medicine (Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani): A Comprehensive Review

Abstract

Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) affects approximately 18.6 million people worldwide annually and precedes 80% of non-traumatic lower extremity amputations. Despite advances in modern wound care, healing rates remain suboptimal at 30-40% at 12 weeks, with recurrence rates of 42% at 1 year and 65% at 5 years.
