Abstract This study underscores the need for social reform and rehabilitation for drug users and their families, while examining the worldwide issue of drug use. It analyses the challenges faced during recovery and the adequacy of rehabilitation methods. The study including 400 patients aged 18 to 45 indicated that family therapy significantly improves recovery by offering daily support and insight into behaviours. Reducing loneliness and enhancing involvement in communal activities are two results of nearby community groups. Nevertheless, impediments such as social stigma, economic difficulties, and familial discord obstruct successful healing. To enhance rehabilitation results and promote cultural reintegration, data indicates that comprehensive medication, leadership, and community involvement are essential.
