Microneedle patches are a groundbreaking development in drug delivery. Traditional hypodermic injections often cause pain, trigger needle phobia, and carry a risk of infection. Biodegradable microneedles offer a new solution by merging the benefits of transdermal delivery with patient comfort and safety for the environment. This manuscript examines their design, fabrication methods, and materials used. It also discusses their increasing significance in vaccination and managing chronic diseases. This review highlights both current progress and future possibilities in this rapidly growing field.
