Abstract The paper will analyze the post-merger financial sustainability, asset quality, and grass-root level credit delivery of Jharkhand Gramin Bank in Ranchi District through the use of CAMEL approach between FY 2021–22 and FY 2025–26. The results show that there is a structural turnaround witnessed through Credit Deposit Ratio of 61.25% exceeding legal requirements, Gross Non-Performing Assets reducing to 2.45%, and Current Account Savings Account Ratio maintaining a healthy Net Interest Margin of 3.58%. Policy suggestions will highlight the importance of micro-financing, increasing business correspondents' network, and digitization of financial literacy programs in order to resolve the issue of uneven inter-block credit assimilation.
